When a foldable display bends, the screen is not the only thing that moves.
The layers, interfaces, and adhesive between them all bend, stretch, and recover together.
If the adhesive is too rigid, stress can concentrate at a particular interface. If it flows too easily, repeated deformation can lead to permanent deformation or positional change.
For a foldable OCA, the balance under repeated deformation matters more than a single adhesion number. Transparency, viscoelasticity, interfacial adhesion, and long-term stability all become part of the evaluation.
That is why VisCure considers flexibility and optical performance together with UV-blocking functionality. A good material for a foldable display is rarely the material that excels at only one property.
