VisCure Selected for LG Display Collaboration at Seoul Open Innovation Launching Day

The Seoul Business Agency (SBA) held the “2025 Seoul Open Innovation Launching Day” at COEX in Seoul, where major corporations and startups announced their collaboration plans through proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.

Through the Seoul Startup Hub Open Innovation Program, SBA supports collaboration between startups and large or mid-sized companies by facilitating technology validation (PoC), investment opportunities, and joint business development.

At the event, 12 major corporations introduced startups selected for collaboration this year, with each startup presenting its planned PoC project.

Participating corporate–startup collaborations included:

  • LG Display – VisCure
  • Hyundai Engineering & Construction – Saeim
  • Shinhan Financial Group – MemoryAll
  • DB Group – Gmission
  • Kakao Mobility – DVDLab
  • GS25 Vietnam – PeachAI
  • Naver Cloud – 5Grizz
  • Samsung C&T – Glorang
  • Samsung Financial Networks – NewGistock
  • SoluM – AsWeMake
  • Hoban Group – Arch Seoul

Among them, VisCure announced a collaboration with LG Display to validate the performance of UV-blocking optically clear adhesives for automotive displays using visible-light curing technology.

Other collaborations include:

  • Gmission working with DB Group to demonstrate a QRA data analysis solution based on semiconductor process data using lightweight language models (sLM).
  • PeachAI partnering with GS25 Vietnam to introduce vision AI–based retail media technology in convenience stores.
  • DVDLab collaborating with Kakao Mobility to develop user research–driven decision-making services.
  • MemoryAll working with Shinhan Financial Group to develop “Daily Check-in,” a safety service for elderly single-person households.
  • AsWeMake partnering with SoluM to validate a real-time pricing optimization solution using electronic shelf label (ESL) technology.
  • NewGistock collaborating with Samsung Financial Networks to develop an AI-based stock screening service using natural language queries.
  • Arch Seoul partnering with Hoban Group to implement QR-based ordering and payment systems for resorts and F&B services.
  • Glorang working with Samsung C&T to develop personalized learning spaces within apartment community facilities.
  • 5Grizz leveraging Naver Cloud infrastructure and AI technologies for large-scale data processing in inventory management solutions.
  • Saeim collaborating with Hyundai Engineering & Construction to introduce smart safety and health training solutions for construction sites.

Kim Jong-woo, Head of the Startup Division at SBA, stated:
