Suwon Special City announced that 36 teams were selected as winners at the 2025 Suwon Startup Audition, held on October 1 at the Novotel Ambassador Suwon.
A total of 33 teams that passed the preliminary document screening presented their ideas at the event, after which the final award-winning teams were selected through evaluation.
The competition received 439 applications across three categories: Idea, Commercialization, and Startup Clubs.
Suwon City selected a total of 36 award-winning teams, including:
- Grand Prize: one team in each category (two Suwon Mayor Awards and one Minister of Environment Award)
- Excellence Award: one team in each category (Suwon Mayor Award)
- Outstanding Award: one team in each category (Chairperson of Suwon City Council Award)
The Excellence Awards were presented to:
- MGGMG (AI alarm service) in the Startup Club category
- PiSphere (eco-friendly electricity generation and education solution) in the Idea category
- Zolv (Zolv Pad) in the Commercialization category
Winning teams will receive prize money, as well as opportunities to access the Suwon Corporate Saebit Fund and participate in SME loan support programs.

The Suwon Startup Audition, hosted by Suwon City and organized by the Suwon Urban Foundation Startup Support Center, aims to discover promising entrepreneurs with innovative startup ideas and strong technological capabilities.
